welcome to brookstone, a quiet town located just along the empty border of America. as much as the border is busy, this little town is just barley brushed against with the massive tourists waves. The families here are very close to one another, a lot of them have been rumored to hace cross-married and produce their own cousins. but this isnt the reason why this town is avoided, or ignored. brookstone is a quiet place, with little to do. the mall they have, is very small, only seven stores within it. the cinema is very old and cheap, and usually theres no fee to a friday night movie.
but this sounds brilliant, a few people have said, as they settle in brookstone. but what they dont know, is that the town has its own history. founded by a mad man, brookstone evolved into a small populated town, and grew from there. things began to go wrong when people began to go missing, a few years ago. no one is sure who is where and why they've left, but when they return, things start go return to normal.
or as normal as it'll ever be.
it is now the year 2007, and teenagers are starting to rebel. the quiet town is fed up with its sad little off-the-map reputation, and tired of its no blow no action setting. teens are rebelling, adults are giving up; the sad little town is breaking down. will you help out in the rebellion, or will you stand by and watch?

But the most disturbing trend of all is the disagreements and strife arising within the ranks of the Dragon Riders themselves. Yet these are the days of the Dragon Riders at height of their power. From within these origins, what will become your legacy?
Inheritance: Origins is an entry-level RP (but advanced roleplayers are welcome) designed and run by advanced roleplayers to show beginners how to roleplay or help intermediate roleplayers become advanced. It's based off the fantasy world of Paolini's Eragon and Eldest but no knowledge of the books is required to play. Just like an advanced RP, you'll see an interesting storyline, balanced characters, and dynamic writing, but rather than expect these skills from you before you join, our entire goal is to teach them to you. As an added bonus, rather than limiting the number of Dragon Rider characters on the board, we encourage them as the preferred character type for the roleplay!

Not much has changed on earth in the last couple years but the year is 2043. The technology and everything hasn’t changed much before global warming, but they are fearing change now. Cities have gotten smaller as new diseases pop up and wipe out more and more people. There have been so many new diseases that no body can keep up with cures so slowly human numbers are beginning to decrease. Though don’t get me wrong there are still billions and billions of humans there just isn’t as much as there was in the year 2000. Scientists, though, have gotten smarter and more creative. They started splicing human children and teenagers with animal DNA. Some turn out great others only live a few days before their genetic makeup unravels.
The teens spliced with avian DNA have worked out the best but there are few of those made because they are stronger and harder to manage. The wolves come next though their life span isn’t that long. The scientists use them as guards in the labs though some of the better ones develop minds of their own and turn on the scientists... Those are the ones that are destroyed. Only the teens with the avian and the lupine DNA survived for more then 3 years. Teens spliced with vampire bat DNA was also a success but turned out they needed human blood to survive so were destroyed and never used again....
The government found out about these experiments and shut the only lab thought to be doing it down and killed all the experiments inside. Like I said before, new things were scary and thought that they were going to bring the end of the world so whenever the government found something new they usually destroyed it. But there was another facility that did experiments deep in the woods where the government couldn’t find them. This place is still running and there are still experiments inside.
Most experiments were test tube babies in the beginning but slowly the scientists figured if you grafted teens with the DNA then they had a higher success rate of living longer. They have been pulling homeless teens off the streets for years now, grafting them with different animal DNA to see what works and what doesn’t. Those that don’t work out like planed were destroyed on the spot and never tested with again.
My friends we are the future and we are trapped in this lab in which there seems to be no escape but just you wait. Then the hybrids came... Weather this is good or bad is up to you, they have not chosen a side, nor have they helped anyone but there are rumors spreading that they are developing gifts.

Welcome to Ingenuous Muerte Academy, we hope you enjoy your stay here, however long it may be. The Academy, IMA, was opened up in the year 1606, in what is now known at the state of Washington, in the United States of America. Many people believe that the Native Americans were the first to settle in the Americas, but before they showed up, the vampires and werewolves were here. In 1606, an old vampire by the name William Faws decided that he wanted to have a school for young vampires to learn at, so he created Ingenuous Muerte Academy. Ingenuous meaning innocent and unworldly, showing innocence and a lack of worldly experience, because the vampires were young, and Muerte being the Spanish word for death, innocent of death. He knew that vampires could be killed, but it was extremely hard to do so, and so he called his school Ingenuous Muerte Academy.

At first, the school was only open to vampires. It was a place where vampires from all over would come to learn, and the best ways to hunt, they best ways to feed, and the best ways to stay alive. They also learned the things humans would learn, like history, math, and science, but they learned so much more as well. This school was the best in all the world for young vampires to learn, and the vampires that came out of here alive were the smartest and lived the longest. It went like that for a little over one hundred years, before a rival school opened up on the other side of the country. That school also let werewolves attend, and the mix of vampire and werewolves brought more people to want to attend it instead. Now, IMA couldn’t have that, and William Faws wouldn’t allow it either. So, in the 1700's, he opened up the school to vampires and werewolves also. Now, it was already hard enough for the vampires to graduate as it was, could they survive with some wolfy competition?

Werewolves now started attending the school. Special classes were being opened just for them, classes on how to deal with the change during the full moon, the history of werewolves, how to control yourself when in werewolf form, among other things. Now, vampires and werewolves don’t always cause the greatest mix in the world. If one vampire hates one werewolf and visa versa, than there could be a full out war, literally. Vampires and werewolves are two completely different species, and putting them together is sometimes like oil and water. It’s just not really going to work. Well, it worked for a while, but then, a few dead bodies were being found. Some vampire, some werewolf. No one ever found out who was doing it, but it wasn’t very good. Vampires, who generally don’t like werewolf blood, started to drink their blood for the heck of it, and chaos was spreading throughout the school. The other rival school had to be closed because of this, but William Faws wouldn’t allow that. He would not let his precious school be closed, so he brought in some new people to help handle everything. Witches.

In the late 1800s, witches were now allowed to attend the school. And attend they did. Witches are not just females, they are males also, and in they came. They helped settle things down, with the new species and some new witch teachers. As they came in, the school got even better. It had better learning, and less violence than it did before. But with the witches, came some new ‘fun’ things going on in the school. Of course, the teachers were oblivious, but some of the students would cast spells on others, and then some of the vampires would get a little ruff with one of the witches. Or a werewolf would ‘accidentally’ bite a witch on a full moon, turning them into a werewolf. Really, it wasn’t that different from other schools, right? It just had people in it, that humans thought didn’t exist, and it had a bit more vioence. But hey, that’s what school is for, right?

Finally, in the late 1990's, humans were being accepted into this little Washington state Academy. Most humans didn’t even know it existed, since it was well hidden in the forests, and the witches had helped make the school not visible to outsiders. But William Faws wanted something new, well, actually, his son wanted something new. His son, Edward Faws, wanted a change to the school again. He wanted humans in. So his father made it so humans would start attending. At first, it was a bit hard, but if he found kids that wanted a better education, or were having problems in school, or getting kicked out of school because of behavior problems, he sent letters out to those people. And finally, just told the public about the school. Most of the humans didn’t want to go, not because of what went there, they didn’t know that part, but because it was known for being the toughest school around. But parents seemed to like it, and like it a lot. When the humans arrived, it was a shock to them at first, because they didn’t think that vampires, werewolves, and witches even existed, well, most didn’t anyway. Of course, now, how will a human come out alive. Could they survive in this Academy, with teenage supernatural beings, without being turned into one of them? You never know, so, hopefully you’ll make it out alive, and the same race you were when you came it. Welcome to high school, or, welcome to your death.

Welcome to Holtcombe Academy filled with dreams, heartbreaks, and hope. It's located in the beautiful land of Santa Barbara and right on the beach. It is a widely known school for it's party style. And who can blame them? It's right on the beach and in a city filled with clubs, parties, and the lifestyle of the rich and famous. Just make sure not to get caught up in it. Or your time might be up.

Blackwood Academy. Just your regular, average, everyday school, right? Sure. The students take any class any other student would, the school is dominated and divided by different social groups, the students all drink underage and go out on the weekends and have a good time they way they would anywhere else. Sure, they go to school in a building almost 140 years old, but everything has been updated and modernized for convenience. The campus is beautiful and filled with lots of little nooks and crannies that make a prefect place to curl up with a book. There are huge fireplaces in some of the main building areas, which are often lit and make great places to hang out with your friends. Just a picture perfect place with picture perfect views and picture perfect people. Right? Wrong. Even on opening night in 1873, things went wrong. Students complained of feeling a presence that seemed to float in and out of their rooms and examine them; people stumbled upon trap doors and tunnel systems behind wall panels, and some people seemed to simply disappear. Ever since, people have been disappearing with no valid explanation as to why. Many receive threatening letters, but other's don't. Some are girls, some are boys, some are popular, some are not. The victims have nothing in common other than the fact that they go to Blackwood Academy. These disappearances went on for 120 years before even so much as a single clue was discovered. Back in 1995, a dog digging in its back yard managed to find a mass grave which contained nearly 500 bodies, a number never released to the press. The grave was immediately linked to the school, but no single person could be indited in these heinous crimes. The oldest body was so old, no living person could have killed them, and certainly no one person could have dug this huge mass grave. The case was finally dismissed as an open investigation and put on the shelf, after three years of searching to no avail. Ever since, students have been complaining of places where the climate seems instantly colder and of feeling a presence floating around. A fair number of students have gone missing, but the school keeps telling students that the missing student simply "went home" or "was expelled". Strange things have been happening all around campus, but everything is always hushed. As for the students, they stand divided. Half of the student population ignores the strange goings-on, sighting them as faulty heating or any number of other theories to keep them at peace. They're referred to as the social-climbers. The rest of the students are much less easy to pacify, and have been doing research and the like to find out everything they possibly can about the strange activity that seems to take place at their school. The two groups are each headed by a king and queen, and the couples are at constant odds with each other. At Blackwood, one never knows what they'll find. The whole campus is littered with secret areas, the school administration is up to something, and everything you find is a clue. Can you solve the mystery of Blackwood Academy?

Suddenly life isn’t what you thought it was before. Creatures are parading around the world as if they were humans. Lycans, vampires, witches, fairies, changelings, nymphs, and elves are all around you. Fear drowns you in crashing waves as you try to hold onto that memory. As you try to imagine what it would have been like if you could have only kept your imagination, your imagination.

The world has changed drastically these fifty years. Fifty years ago, the supernatural creatures decided to come out of hiding. At first, they were killed left and right. As of late, they have rights. No one is to kill another being, according to the law. It’s funny how things chance. How easy a monster can be considered a friend in a matter of years? That begs the question: What is a monster? What makes a man? Is it possible to tell the difference? Is the meaning the same for everyone?
If you need to leave the world you live in lay your head down and stay awake though you may not remember dreaming something waits for you to breath again
All of these questions are what people of the United Kingdom have to answer for themselves. It’s medieval Europe and their will be decisions made that affect the entire world for years to come. Lives will be lost. New dreams will fly into the sky with open wings. It’s all about choices and decisions. Friend and alliances. No one is alone, or should be alone in a world of such turmoil. Vampires control the supernatural community secretly and the humans think their own form of government will save them. It’s a world of chaos. This is the Eve of Beltane. A new world full of exciting things.

This roleplay is based on the newly released movie, I Am Legend. However, you do not have to see the movie in order to understand this roleplay.
Once hailed as the cure for cancer, the disease-ridden vaccine has killed off nearly every being in the U.S., and around the World. Those who have not surrendered to such a fate have turned to the light of the sun to protect them during the day. The creatures seek out all traces of meat and blood and have lost all human-like qualities. They do not speak, they do not understand the human language, and they have no sense of feelings. They rely solely on instinct, just like the humans of the prehistoric era. These beings are relentless, but they are susceptible to UV rays like sunlight and therefore do not leave the shadows during the daytime.
You might wonder if there are even humans still alive after such an epidemic and the answer to that is yes. Only those who are immune to the cure-turned-disease. Those people live in fear of the creatures, hiding as best they can. The majority are alone in the world and this has drove some to the brink of insanity, some even over the brink. Their lives are mangled and they grasp onto what they can, only coming out during the day and being careful not to leave any traces of their blood or sweat to bring the creatures right to their doorstep. True, they cannot become one of the creatures, but they can still be feasted upon by them. And this is not a fate anyone still living hopes to achieve, despite all that has happened.
Some humans have adopted animal companions because while animals are susceptible to the virus, it is only through being bitten that they can truly contract it. The air-borne version of the virus has no effect on animals. Others are stubborn and cling to the hope they are not alone in this world. That they are truly not the last person on earth. That is the only thing keeping some going on with their lives, and continuing to hide on a day-to-day basis. In a world now as barren as this, it is rare to come across another being, even rarer more than one, but in a city as heavily populated as Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Houston once was, there was bound to be quite a few survivors and there is. They just have to find each other.
This is the year 2012, three years after the epidemic hit. Will this be the year everything is restored to the way it was before? Or will it be the year the world ends as was predicted by the Mayans long ago? The fate is in the survivors hands whether they believe it or not, so will you take the chance and try to save the world or do nothing and condemn it to stay what it has become?

The most infamous and their followers make the rules outside of the town (and sometimes in.) of All-Fired County. They get their way... unless the towns wise up.
Bring courage to the towns a vigilante or sheriff. Bring fear as an outlaw. Make your choice. Live.

In the late twentieth century, three witches came into great power. They were destined to be the charmed three. The three great protectors of good magic. Though they endured many things that pulled them away from the path of good, they always found there way back. However life for these three charmed sisters came to a heartbreaking halt when the eldest of the three, Prue, was killed by a demon named Shax. The power of three was no more.
The day of Prue's funeral was a hard one. The sisters had lost their eldest sister and there protector. There was no saving the power of three with the two of them. That is when Paige stepped into their lives. Come to find out from their mother, this Paige was their sister, and there only way of saving the power of three. The sisters were reluctant at first, mostly Paige, as magic was new to her, but in the end, the power of three was rekindled and the charmed ones were back in action.
Though they continued to live their mortal lives as well. Bringing them families of their own. Piper the now eldest, married Leo, there whitelighter. Together they had three magical children, Wyatt, Chris and Melinda. Phoebe married a Cupid named Coop. They together had three wonderful daughters, Leslie, Madison and Gina. Paige the youngest of the three married outside of magic. She married a mortal named Henry, who was no a cupid but a parole officer. They brought into this world three beautiful children as well, Hannah, Hailey and Henry Jr.
In the year 2021, magic was going haywire in the Halliwell family. Piper, not wanting to watch her family lose control, summoned a neutral being, to strip her family of there magic and store it until he felt that it was a good time for them to be returned. This made her family very angry, but before they had a chance to get out of her where their powers were, Piper passed away.
The year is 2047. It has been twenty six years since the loss of the charmed magic. The children of the Halliwell's have slowly moved on and created families of their own. Sona, the carrier of the Halliwell magic has decided that it is now safe to release the magic back to where it rightfully belongs. How will these kids react to magic this powerful? Will they accept their heritage or want nothing to do with it. No matter what their feelings. They are.....

Drink It Up
5 rock bands. {number will increase when we get more members !} One tour. For 7 months these bands will be touring with eachother through various parts of the US. Being cramped in a tour bus with a bunch of people could get ugly. There's bound to be all those one night stands, drugs, heart breaking, and of course drama in general. Rockin' it to the top aint no picnic and neither is all the crap that comes with it. People shouldn't be together for that long but people will do anything for fame and riches. How do they take it ? The bigger question is, can you take it ?
